I’m a multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, composer and Club Weld music facilitator. I picked up the guitar at the age of 13, studied music after high school and later got into audio engineering and composition. I started composing music under the guise Seagull Chainsaw, traversing from electronic, trip-hop, remixes and eventually focusing on chiptune, ambient, noise and circuit bent instruments.
After tackling Weekly beats 2012 (an online challenge to compose a song every week for one year), I ventured outside of my dark and dusty room to do my first multimedia project at ICE called, ‘Parranormal’. I continued working with ICE on other projects, including, ‘Pools of Granville’ and my first film score for, ‘In The Woods’. I also play drums in a grindcore band called, ‘Frame 313’ and guitar in a post hardcore/skramz band called, ‘Cittagazze’. My main goal is to compose music for video games.
I’ve always been inspired by composers like, Grant Kirkhope, Koji Kondo, Rob Hubbard, Masato Nakamura, HIYA! and Junichi for creating music that immerses players into interactive realities.ock
